5 things to watch in Georgia State vs. Georgia Southern

The Georgia State men’s basketball team (14-11, 7-9 Sun Belt) will visit Georgia Southern (12-14, 8-8) at 6 p.m. today. The Panthers won the first meeting, 69-66, in overtime.

This is a fairly important game for seeding in the upcoming Sun Belt men’s basketball tournament. The Eagles are in fifth and the Panthers sixth with four games remaining. Only the top eight teams will make it to the tourney in New Orleans. Neither has clinched a spot in the event.
