In less than 60 seconds, here’s Georgia State’s Tony Samuel giving you the information on his position group, the defensive line:

How has your position group looked so far and after the summer?

They had a really good summer. I thought physically they came back looking different. Less body fat, a lot more tone to their bodies and in pretty good condition. Obviously, we haven’t put pads on yet. The guys up front need pads to show. I like the energy and it’s a good learning mode at this point.

Is there a specific thing that are you working on in camp before you start preparing for Charlotte?

Right now we are just preparing ourselves and getting comfortable in pads again. That’s so important up front. Right now, we aren’t in pads.

In the summer, it’s sprint ahead go all at it. It’s not jump up and down, change direction, push on a big guy, chase a little guy. It’s not that.

Is there one particular guy that you are really keen on seeing once the pads do go on?

I’ve never done that one particular guy thing. Defensive lines, in this day and age with these fast-paced offenses, you need a two deep and they all need to be very good at what they do. There are some guys that we may talk about as we see them play.

At this point, I try not to do that.

How deep do you think you can right now?

I think we are right now close to a two deep. I think we are going to be a lot closer than last year’s group.
