R.J. Hunter will learn his fate at tonight’s NBA draft

Tonight is the NBA draft, when R.J. Hunter will learn if his decision to leave Georgia State with a year of eligibility remaining was correct.

It seems that it will be after looking at a lot of mock drafts, which I’ve provided links to below. It seems he could go anywhere from 12 to Utah (which I’ve since read is trying to trade up), to 30 to Golden State.

In the meantime, here are a few pieces written about Hunter the past few days to whet your whistle before the event begins at 7 p.m.

I’ll be at Hunter’s private party in the media corral and will have something posted as soon as he is selected. I’ll freshen the story with quotes from him and Ron Hunter soon after that.
