First Person: Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter

Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter was one of the best shooters in college basketball last year.

On his way to winning the Sun Belt men’s basketball player of the year, as well as the conference’s male athlete of the year award, Hunter averaged 18.3 points per game while hitting 100 3-pointers to lead the Panthers to the conference’s regular-season title.

Thanks to a GoPro camera, you can see what Hunter sees when he shoots.

If you want to see Hunter live, Georgia State is hosting an event at the Sports Arena at 7 tonight in which both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will be unveiled. It’s free.

I hope you enjoy. (If you are trying to watch on a mobile device, click here.)
